Thanks to Trader Joe’s Soba Noodle Stir Fry Kit, you can have this simple, healthy Asian dish on the table in 15 minutes. This savory & filling meal can be served hot or cold.

Soba noodles are made from buckwheat flour and wheat flour and have a slightly nutty, earthy taste. Buckwheat is a good source of manganese, thiamin and fiber.

Makes 2 servings

All ingredients purchased @ Trader Joe's


  • 1 bag Trader Joe’s Vegetable and Soba Noodle Stir Fry Kit

  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil

  • 1 cube crushed garlic

  • ½ bag Argentinian Red Shrimp

  • oil spray  

  • 1 bell pepper, diced

  • optional: ¼ cup slivered almonds


1) Open the kit, remove the noodles from the package. Soak the noodles in a bowl of hot water for 2 minutes. Drain, separate noodles and set aside.

2) Heat the sesame oil and garlic for one minute on medium high.

3) Add the shrimp and cook 2-3 minutes, stirring often.

4) Transfer the shrimp to a plate.

5) Spray the pan with oil.

6) Add the diced bell pepper and the vegetables from kit. Sauté for 2-3 minutes, stirring frequently.

7) Return the shrimp to the pan. Add the noodles and sauce. Cook 1-2 minutes until sauce is heated through.

8) Divide into two servings.

9) For extra crunch, add 2 tablespoons slivered almonds per serving.
