Pasta with Turkey Meatballs

  • 4 oz. your choice of pasta

  • 6 Turkey Meatballs, cut in half

  • 1 cup Marinara sauce

  • ½ cup chopped basil leaves

  • ½ cup diced onions

  • canola oil spray

  • 2 tablespoons Shaved Parmigiano Reggiano

  • Optional: Add vegetables like 2 cups spinach, 1 cup sliced mushrooms or ½ a red onion. Top with fresh black pepper to taste.


  1. Cook pasta according to package directions and drain.

  2. Meanwhile, spray the pan with oil, sauté diced onions over medium to high heat for 3 minutes.

  3. Add the meatballs sauté another 3 minutes.

  4. Add the sauce, reduce heat and cook until all the ingredients are warm and the meatballs are cooked through (about 5 more minutes).

  5. Combine the pasta and meatball mixture. Add basil and stir to wilt. 

  6. Divide the meal in half. Place half in a bowl for today and half in a container to store in the fridge for tomorrow (along with half the remaining cheese).

  7. When ready to eat, sprinkle the cheese and enjoy!
